Responsibility
- we are looking for dynamic, curious, motivated, and self-starting Senior Sales Engineer to join our growing team in the UK
- in this role, you will interact with and influence senior technical staff and business management within Calix’s broadband service provider customers
- positioning and selling Calix networking products and solutions
- you will provide demonstrations of Calix’s product capabilities and assist with lab and field trials
- assist in the preparation of RFx responses
- deliver technical sales-oriented presentations to customer's technical staff and senior management
- the ideal candidate has a strong technical background, experience in a pre-sales position, and confidence in both technical and business forums
- understand business requirements involved with technical account strategy
Requirements
- MSc/BSEE/BSCS desired
- strong background and experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 Access network architectures
- strong background and experience with FTTx Fiber based Access solutions
- strong background and experience with WAN services, PON and Ethernet based architectures
- knowledge with various routing protocols , transport functions and subscriber management/BNG
- ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to L2/L3 deployment architectures and methodologies
- understanding of SaaS and SDN based technologies
- experience partnering with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement in product, education, training, testing methods, and demos
