Responsibility

  • cakebread catering are looking for a professional cook to prepare food and to set up for the day
  • as well as other kitchen duties it will be your responsibility making sure food is served efficiently & safely
  • the successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals
  • the cook duties will consist of preparing & cooking food keeping to an acceptable time frame, This will be within a shop setting who also deliver food through food apps
  • set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • prepare food for service
  • cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • answer, report and fill in daily paper work

Requirements

  • proven cooking experience, including experience as a fast food cook, cafe, restaurant cook
  • excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • familiar with industry’s best practices
  • chef: 1 year
  • cooking: 1 year
  • kitchen experience: 1 year
