Requirements

  • familiar with AutoCAD, or a similar 2D CAD package, like MicroStation
  • experience and an understanding of designing for folded sheet metal fabrication and welded assembly is desirable
  • able to interpret architectural/engineering type drawings
  • an appropriate degree, HNC/HND or equivalent industry experience. Willing to consider a recent graduate
  • previous experience in the construction industry or similar and be appropriately qualified
  • proficiency using Autodesk Inventor, willing to consider a candidate with experience of similar 3D CAD software, like Solidworks, Creo, Solid Edge, Siemens NX, Fusion 360
  • ISOH or NEBOSH desirable but not essential
  • full driving license
