Responsibility

  • supporting the Café Manager in running the cafe
  • we provide a large number of volunteer placements and volunteers are central to the success of our activities
  • ACT grew out of a volunteer-led project to develop a sustainable future for the Ardagh as a public asset
  • community engagement. Building positive working relationships with local people, members and occasional users. Supporting the Café Manager to create an inclusive, friendly and welcoming environment and culture within the facility
  • our budget is c £500,000, with £350,000 currently coming from earned income through the Café
  • location: Ardagh Community Trust
  • full Time: 37.5 hours
  • ardagh Community Trust is a growing charity employing 22 members of staff and providing services from the Ardagh, in the centre of Horfield Common, North Bristol

Requirements

  • food Hygiene or Food Safety Certificate Level 2
  • barista experience: 1 year
  • customer service: 1 year
  • hospitality: 1 year
