Responsibility
- supporting the IT Group Services Manager with delivering the Service Desk function
- leading, motivating and developing a multi-skilled Service Desk team to ensure effective delivery of team objectives and goals
- help identify operational efficiency improvements to reduce cost/manual error whilst improving the perception of IT
- if so, we at Cabot are on the lookout for a Desktop Services Team Leader to join our IT Operations department in Kings Hill, West Malling, ME19 4UA
- the core purpose of the role is to proactively lead the Desktop Service Desk Team , ensuring that the function is always available during core hours to deliver services in accordance with internal IT and business approved processes and in line with agreed timescales and Service Level Agreements
- effectively and efficiently managing the flow of Incidents and Requests to the Service Desk, ensuring operational delivery and customer satisfaction
- the expectation is that you’ll lead the team, alongside providing operational support for all business critical applications/interfaces within the Cabot Group environment and our clients
- acting as first point of escalation from the business on any breached SLAs/requirements to re-prioritise activities
