- A-Level or equivalent
Responsibility
- ensure all export orders can be completed within a 4 week period and inform all stakeholders of any delays
- ensure all UK orders can be completed within a 48 hour window and inform all stakeholders of any delays
- create shortage reports and address in a timely manner
- liaise with sales office on particular urgent requests and modify production plan to suit
- determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
- maintain MRP levels in line with forecast and historic demand
- create the production plan for each section using an optimum time horizon to produce as efficiently as possible, balancing the requirement to lengthen runs and reduce changeovers with the need to complete customer orders in a timely manner
- monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget

- knowledge and experience of using ERP systems
- data driven and highly numeric
- ability to multi-task and prioritise

- problem solving and creative thinker
- experience of working in a manufacturing environment essential
