Responsibility
- assist with accounts payable processes, including invoice generation, verification and payment processing
- maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
- prepare and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
- processing Bills for payment
- support month-end closing activities by preparing necessary documentation and reports
- assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports as required
- respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounts and financial transactions
- collaborate with team members and our external accountancy firm to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the accounts department
Requirements
- proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks is highly desirable
- strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles
- excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various stakeholders
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- worked in a service based business, with experience of job management software
- accounts Admin: 3 years
