Working hours

Responsibility

  • production of mechanical layouts and schematics using AutoCAD’s 2D & 3D software packages
  • assisting in the surveying of mechanical services systems
  • production of Operation & Maintenance manuals and as-fitted drawings
  • liaising with contract managers, plumbers, electricians, surveyors, architects and other professionals

Requirements

  • level 3 or 4 qualification in Construction and the Built Environment / Building Services
  • A keen eye for detail
  • strong technical drawing skills
  • experienced in industry-specific AutoCAD software and modelling programmes
  • strong numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
  • excellent people and time management skills
  • the ability to work well both as part of a team and individually
  • A genuine interest and enthusiasm in building services engineering and the built environment
