cad technician

  • cad technician

Responsibility

  • protect the company’s position and always represent the company in a professional manner
  • design/development of design and build HVAC Contracts. This will include preparing equipment, diffuser and attenuator schedules
  • liaise with client, architect or designer to request information, to resolve drawing issues and answer technical queries
  • maintain Job Files, both electronic and paper and maintain drawing registers
  • prepare Installation Packs and Operating & Maintenance Manuals
  • visit sites to measure, or commission
  • provide office support to the Project Managers, dealing with telephone queries from customers or our site installation teams
  • as a part of your training you will assist in the estimation

Requirements

  • good standard of education, numerate, literate, IT skills
  • NVQ Levels 2 & 3 in AutoCAD
  • ONC/HNC in Building Services or another relevant subject
  • A strong knowledge of materials of construction and the HVAC industry
  • proficient in the operation of the latest versions of AutoCAD and CADmep+
