Responsibility

  • the hours will be 35 - 45 hours per week
  • the salary is negotiable
  • preparing, cooking and presenting dishes
  • helping the head chef and sous chef to develop new dishes and menus
  • ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
  • monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
  • due to our growing success at the Maypole we are looking to develop and add to our talented kitchen team, we are currently looking for a CDP, Senior CDP or Sous Chef
  • we work with fresh ingredients serving gastro pub food and everything is homemade from breads to desserts so it is a great opportunity to learn and develop
