Responsibility
- assist Solicitors in preparing and filing immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents
- conduct legal research on immigration / Family / civil Litigation laws, regulations, and procedures
- draft legal documents, including affidavits, briefs, and correspondence
- maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and databases
- communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case status
- coordinate with government agencies and other parties involved in the immigration process
- attend client meetings and assist with client intake and interviews
- prepare clients for immigration interviews and hearings
Requirements
- bachelor's degree / LLB / LLM / SQE
- minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal / NQ Solicitor
- strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures
- proficient in legal research tools and software
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- familiarity with case management software is a plus
