Responsibility

  • we are looking for a CAD Technician to work in the BW ESS in-house Planning & Development team
  • the role will primarily involve leading the production of site layouts for Battery Energy Storage System projects at various stages of the development lifecycle in the UK
  • ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and regulations in all design work
  • the role may also include supporting the other jurisdictions that BW ESS operates in, including but not limited to, Australia, Germany, Italy and Sweden

Requirements

  • proficiency in CAD and 3D modelling software, such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, or equivalent
  • excellent standard of verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and present designs
  • exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies and project requirements
  • full UK drivers license
  • have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a CAD Technician or similar role, preferably in the renewable energy or engineering industry
