  • proven experience as a welder or similar role
  • proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and welding codes
  • strong knowledge of different welding techniques
  • familiarity with ductwork fabrication and assembly is a plus
  • ability to solder and braze metal components
  • knowledge of mechanical principles and understanding of how systems work together
  • ability to operate machinery such as plasma cutters, pipe threaders, and forklifts safely
  • excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
