Requirements
- forklift licence essential
- satisfactory completion of a Reach Truck/Counterbalance Forklift training program
- warehouse experience operating Radio Data Terminal / Hand Held Terminal
- experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment
- attention to detail
- ability to work without direct supervision
- strong attention to accuracy and accomplish job task in a timely manner
- able to work effectively in a fast-moving environment
Responsibility
- assembling customer orders from pick sheets / Radio Data Terminal / Hand Held Terminal
- ensuring products are picked in line with procedures
- ensuring performance is in line with KPI’s as required
- overall responsibilities involve receipt of incoming goods, picking and loading of orders in a safety conscious and time critical environment, as well as ensuring KPI’s and day-to-day duties of the warehouse are met
- identifying damaged or missing stock
- loading / unloading of vehicles
- training and supporting new staff
- locating stock into raking and build locations
