- minimum Level 2 in Food Hygiene, preferably level 3
Responsibility
- to manage the kitchen and other catering stations in line with environmental health regulations
- to ensure that all dietary requirements are known and adhered to, including allergies
- ensure that appropriate clothing, including head wear is worn at all times by yourself
- responsible for ensuring that the Food Policy is followed and that High Risk foods are not used in any recipes
- ensure that all dietary requirements of children with allergies are adhered to
- prepare lunch, tea and snacks
- to ensure that all food cooked is heated to the correct temperature
- communicating effectively in the wider team, and supporting staff in dietary including allergy information and substitutes for children
