Responsibility
take day to day management responsibility of the service
to ensure all daily compliance checks are completed
supporting the Home Manager in the daily management & running of the Care Home. Managing, delivering & leading high-quality support as part of the support team using a person-centred approach
ensuring the individual needs of the people we support are met, providing opportunities for individuals to use their skills and enhance their quality of life, whilst maintaining their independence and privacy
Requirements
level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Health & Social Care or equivalent
level 5 Diploma/NVQ in Health & Social Care is ideal but not essential
experience of leading & managing a team, ideally within a management role, within a health care setting
experience of administering medication, this is ideal but not essential as full training will be given
understanding of safeguarding adults at risk health & safety requirements related to running a care home and infection control
understanding of the regulations and legislation within the care profession
understanding of CQC, national minimum standards and key care principles
experience of supporting individuals in a residential setting to include completing personal care and understanding learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs
