- A family run business, Burritos became our thing back in 2020 when we started serving them from our mother site, The Gilbertine Kitchen in Poulton
- we quickly realised there was a love of Mexican cuisine and a lack of exciting independent street food in our local area
- starting as a humble food truck, we have developed into a busy high street restaurant and takeaway, serving hundreds of hungry customers every week
- from dairy and gluten free, to various vegan and vegetarian options, our diverse offering means there’s a dish to be enjoyed for all the family
Requirements
- develop and execute menus in line with our mexican/south American theme
- minimum 2 years experience in a commercial kitchen setting
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- order produce daily and ensure deliveries are stored correctly, and report any sub par produce back to suppliers
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work calmly under pressure
- create a Cleaning schedule and maintain to a high standard
- attention to detail excellent knowledge of food
