to work closely with the Lead Chef to develop menus and business opportunities
we are looking for an individual who is keen to develop their skills in our professional kitchens. You must be hard working, reliable and want to work for an employer that provides an incredible working environment and employee benefits
to maintain high standards of food and kitchen hygiene and ensure all venues obtain maximum food hygiene ratings
Requirements
minimum 2 years experience in a busy kitchen
ability to work effectively as part of a team, with great communication and support to your fellow kitchen brigade
experience at preparing fresh ingredients
chef: 1 year
cooking: 1 year
kitchen experience: 1 year
have a level 2 food hygiene certificate and be able to take additional training courses including, first aid, COSHH, fire warden, allergen awareness and manual handling
you must be able to work under pressure, thrive on a busy environment and have the flexibility to work at other sites in Burnley as well as take on limited overtime
