Responsibility

  • oversee daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
  • create and maintain a positive work environment for the kitchen team
  • collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
  • develop and update menu items based on customer preferences and seasonal availability
  • monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or catering establishment
  • strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
  • proficiency in inventory management and ordering systems
