Responsibility

  • bulwell Forest Garden is a community garden, where people come together through growing, playing, socialising, learning, cooking and caring for the land
  • we have several strands to the organisation including volunteering opportunities in gardening, cooking and conservation, a weekly lunch club, an outreach grow your own club, forest school, family play sessions and schools programme
  • due to the retirement of of our Treasurer, and the growth of the organisation, we are looking to recruit a highly organised and capable Finance Officer to join our small, busy team
  • the successful applicant will ensure the effective financial management and administration of all BFG's projects and activities, working closely with our Development Manager
  • successful applicants will share our commitment to supporting local people to develop a connection with the natural environment, develop their skills and knowledge and improve their physical and emotional wellbeing
  • the successful person would work predominantly from home with regular visits to the Community Garden for meetings and to occasionally support large events
