Responsibility
- we are looking for a dedicated and client-focused Quantity Surveyor to join our team
- prepare detailed cost estimates for tenders, evaluating costs of materials, labour, and time
- you will play a vital role in our team, ensuring our projects are profitable and delivered on budget
- this is a full-time role with salary negotiable depending on experience
- take ownership of tenders, identify potential risks, and accurately record amendments, ensuring that all changes are documented and agreed upon
- collaborate with clients to manage contract variations and negotiate necessary adjustments
- foster and maintain positive relationships with clients, managing any contract variations, and negotiating necessary adjustments in a professional and client-focused manner
- the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for tenders, managing them through to the final account stage, and building strong client relationships
Requirements
- bachelor's or master's degree in Quantity Surveying
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Quantity Surveying
- A valid driver's licence
- excellent understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
- surveying
- strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to make effective decisions
- excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and maintain positive relationships
- proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
Education
- diploma of Higher Education
