- build 4 Growth are looking for a Metal Fabricator Apprentice to complete a Level three apprenticeship to join their team
- steel fabrication projects are often completely in-house, right through from concept, design, fabrication and install
- this gives any successful applicant great insight into all elements of this sector
- the role will require working away and some overnight stays
- roles & responsibilities
- build 4 Growth have a very experienced metal fabricator who is keen to share his skills and provide training to a suitable candidate
- this will help them to develop an understanding of the supply chain and the importance of quality control
- this will help them to develop a deeper understanding of the fabrication process and the skills required to be successful in this role
Requirements
- GCSE Maths C or 4 or above on the Higher Maths paper only
- apprentices will be required to follow detailed instructions and specifications, and they will need to be able to identify and correct any errors
- attention to detail: Steel fabrication and welding are precision trades, and the ability to pay attention to detail is essential
- you will need both of the following
- they will need to be able to listen to and respect the opinions of others, and they will need to be willing to help when needed
- they should be able to write clearly and concisely, and they should be able to present their ideas in a persuasive manner
