Responsibility

  • the ideal candidate will have experience managing operations, compliance, and risk for a dynamic organisation
  • you will have a successful track record of implementing regulatory compliance programs and risk management policies from the ground up
  • direct internal teams on compliance within their specialism e.g. data, finance, HR
  • partner with the leadership team to analyse operational metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions
  • they should be accustomed to the fast pace of a start-up environment and be able to build scalable frameworks with a small team
  • manage relationships with key regulators and partners
  • stay current on financial services regulations and compliance best practices

Requirements

  • experience in the tech industry and/or automotive industry, preferred
  • in-depth knowledge of UK/EU financial and data regulations including FCA requirements
  • understanding of building compliance and risk strategies from the ground up for start-ups
  • proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
  • excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • strong communication and relationship management skills
