- customer service, greeting clients, preparing clients for services i.e refreshments, gowns and general comfort whilst in Ruby @ Browns
- discuss products and hair care with clients
- keep up to date with hew products, styles and industry information
- provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, coloring and styling
- perform skin testing prior to colours and log this information on the in-house system
- maintain cleanliness of salon and your station
- adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- keep on top of current hair cutting and styling trends
Education
- NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- friendly and professional demeanor
- able and willing to work a flexible schedule
- current hair styling Diploma2+ years’ experience cutting and styling hair in a salon
- job Type: Full-time
Requirements
- good communication skills
- ability to learn new skills and to be able to pass these on
- to continuously be an ambassador for Ruby @ Brown's Hairdressing through positive interaction with guests, visitors and the general public
