Responsibility
- design, develop, manage, and maintain WordPress-based websites for a diverse range of clients
- collaborate with the design and marketing teams to transform creative concepts into functional, responsive, and visually appealing websites
- troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner
- optimise websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices
- stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the agency remains competitive and innovative
- communicate effectively with the team and provide technical support where necessary
- participate in ideation sessions and contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches for client projects
- ensure website projects meet quality standards and are completed on schedule
Requirements
- proven experience as a WordPress developer with a strong portfolio of work
- proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- familiarity with WordPress theme and plugin development/customisation
- experience working with Advanced Custom Fields
- understanding of UX/UI principles
- understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- knowledge of SEO principles and website performance optimisation
- strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
