Responsibility

  • \* Communicating everything to the requirements of customers and staff. Exchanging information during handovers to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • \*Taking direct bookings, using a computer system
  • \*General maintenance as well as any guests needs through the evening
  • \* The essential of meeting and greeting customers in a friendly, polite manner. Dealing efficiently with payment transactions and subsequent "cashing up" at the end of the day
  • \* Taking responsibility for own safety and well-being by following procedures such as seeking assistance in the event of any potential conflict e.g unwelcome behaviour from a customer i.e someone being drunk or aggressive
  • \*Keeping an eye on the hotel, ensuring everything is ok, making sure the outside of the hotel is tidy and the reception is presentable
