Responsibility
assist with bookkeeping tasks utilising Sage accounting software and to accurately maintain accounting documents and records
handling cash and receipts, preparing bank deposits and keep banking records up to date
maintain and update customer, volunteer and vehicle details on the TMS
bromyard Community Transport, a voluntary organisation, is looking for an Office and Finance Administrator to join its small and busy team for 12 hours a week, 4 hours a day Wednesday to Friday, timings to be agreed
provide quotations for minibus hire and implement the related process
in this role you will be involved in the delivery of high quality, accessible and inclusive transport to the community of Bromyard and its surrounding area
in addition to the main responsibilites listed below you will support the office team with community transport bookings liaising closely with customers and volunteer drivers
liaise with Manager and maintain and update the organisations social media profile and its website
Requirements
highly organised, effective time management and the ability to multi-task
excellent IT skills and be proficient in all Microsoft programmes
previous experience and knowledge of Sage accounting software or similar
accuracy, good head for figures and attention to detail
effective written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
knowledge and proficiency in the use of social media for marketing purposes
motivated, enthusiastic with the ability to work as part of a small team and on your own initiative
compassion and empathy plus the desire to work with and for your community
