Working hours

  • part-time

Responsibility

  • assist with bookkeeping tasks utilising Sage accounting software and to accurately maintain accounting documents and records
  • handling cash and receipts, preparing bank deposits and keep banking records up to date
  • maintain and update customer, volunteer and vehicle details on the TMS
  • bromyard Community Transport, a voluntary organisation, is looking for an Office and Finance Administrator to join its small and busy team for 12 hours a week, 4 hours a day Wednesday to Friday, timings to be agreed
  • provide quotations for minibus hire and implement the related process
  • in this role you will be involved in the delivery of high quality, accessible and inclusive transport to the community of Bromyard and its surrounding area
  • in addition to the main responsibilites listed below you will support the office team with community transport bookings liaising closely with customers and volunteer drivers
  • liaise with Manager and maintain and update the organisations social media profile and its website

Requirements

  • highly organised, effective time management and the ability to multi-task
  • excellent IT skills and be proficient in all Microsoft programmes
  • previous experience and knowledge of Sage accounting software or similar
  • accuracy, good head for figures and attention to detail
  • effective written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • knowledge and proficiency in the use of social media for marketing purposes
  • motivated, enthusiastic with the ability to work as part of a small team and on your own initiative
  • compassion and empathy plus the desire to work with and for your community
