Responsibility
the IDVA will address safety of the client and their children, assessing the client’s needs and risk level
you will provide backup and support for volunteer facilitators in delivering the groups
you will work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic & sexual abuse
you will provide reports to the management team and to funding bodies on group attendance as and when required
we are seeking candidates with a SafeLives/IDVA training certificate in domestic abuse
however, if you have relevant experience, your application will be considered
you must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
bromley & Croydon Women’s Aid is seeking to recruit an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to provide a high-quality proactive service and support to victims of domestic & sexual violence and abuse in Bromley
