Responsibility

  • the IDVA will address safety of the client and their children, assessing the client’s needs and risk level
  • you will provide backup and support for volunteer facilitators in delivering the groups
  • you will work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic & sexual abuse
  • you will provide reports to the management team and to funding bodies on group attendance as and when required
  • we are seeking candidates with a SafeLives/IDVA training certificate in domestic abuse
  • however, if you have relevant experience, your application will be considered
  • you must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
