Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- scheduling and management of all projects from manufacture through to installation, keeping the project managers updated
- communicate with workshop, CNC and sprayshop managers to ensure an efficient production process
- maintain quality control
- responsibility for implementing and maintaining health and safety within the workplace
- workshop maintenance – creating and maintaining workshop and plant maintenance schedules
- procurement of project specific material requirements
- accountable for all workshop and installation operations, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard
- help to develop and establish operational systems and processes to optimise workshop production
Requirements
- at least five years’ experience in a similar role within a joinery company
- confident with IT systems, including proficiency in the use of Autocad
- strong technical knowledge with the ability to problem solve
- excellent organisational ability
- meticulous eye for detail
- highly self-motivated with a desire to drive the company forward
- confident in managing and building strong relationships with the workshop team
- knowledge of 5 axis CNC integration within the business would be beneficial as we currently use a Homag 5 axis CNC
