Responsibility
- to expedite purchase orders by telephone and email and to ensure timely receipt of product into stock
- liaise with Britpart Warehouse logistics team to arrange collection and delivery of product/orders as necessary
- liaise with Britpart Sales, Goods In and Accounts teams on supplier shortages and invoice queries
- maintain alphanumeric filing system on a weekly basis
- liaise with Quality department on issues concerning samples and returns
- liaise with Britpart shipping department to assist with the paperwork involved in moving goods from overseas
- carry out any other duties as required and as commensurate with role
- to record all information gleaned from the supplier against each order and highlight any issue that will affect stock holding to the relevant member of the purchasing team
