Responsibility
- using the Oracle & Nexala system to order, monitor requisitions and issue supplies/deliveries
- manage the warranty/service exchange process
- monitor parts trends for high and low usage and adjust accordingly
- contact suppliers and internal staff to ensure correct part numbers and prices are achieved
- collection of parts
- control of fuel, oils, antifreeze & screen-wash stocks levels
- receiving fuel deliveries and recording on the computerised system
- assist in health & safety inspections
Requirements
- the ability to work cooperatively with others as a team
- initiative to work without close supervision
- knowledge & experience of COSHH regulations & general health & safety requirements
- good communication skills to be able to liaise with all colleagues and third parties
- highly organised and proficient at multi-tasking
- able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in an ever changing environment
- possession of a full manual car licence is essential, and a PCV licence is preferred, but not essential
- the ability to meet the physically demanding elements of the role
