Responsibility

  • oversee a team, supplying great communication and support
  • ensuring that homes of adults at risk have appropriate activity and support planning
  • auditing records, medication and finances in line with company policies and CQC compliance
  • delivering supervisions and mentoring support workers
  • position: Deputy Service Manager
  • working directly with adults at risk in delivering care
  • responsible For: Team Leaders and Support Workers
  • participate in the on-call rota

Requirements

  • knowledge of working with Learning Disabilities and Autism
  • experience managing a team
  • experience within health and social care
  • minimum 2 years experience within health and social care
  • previous experience of supervising staff
  • ability to deal with conflicts
  • ability to deal with behaviours which may challenge
  • an understanding of safeguarding and ability to identify safeguarding issues
