Responsibility
- supervision of Trainees/ Apprentices and Nursery Assistants as required by Manager/Deputy Manager
- operate a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in your room in conjunction with other staff
- to keep on-line learning journals and developmental records up to date on your key children
- to lead a team of people, to be their first point of contact in the nursery and always approach situations with an open mind keeping the child at the centre of all that you do
- any other duties appropriate to the post as directed by the Nursery Manager
- oversee completion of record keeping and daily paper work as required by the office
- maintain at all times the highest standard of cleanliness and tidiness within the nursery
- ensure the room is set out ready for the children each morning and toys and equipment is stored correctly
