Responsibility
- create detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design software
- collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements
- review and analyze project specifications and blueprints
- make necessary modifications to existing drawings based on design changes or client feedback
- ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings, including dimensions, materials, and specifications
- maintain organized and up-to-date files of all drawings and related documentation
- communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion
Requirements
- proficiency in CAD software
- strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings
- knowledge of engineering principles and construction methods including sheet metal, ducting, pattern development, secondary steelwork, staircases and balustrades
- ability to produce general arrangement, fabrication and laser part drawings
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- autoCAD: 1 year
