- manage and supervise the finishing trades on the high end housing project, including joinery, painting, tiling, and other finishing work
- ensure that all finishing works are executed to the highest quality standards, meeting or exceeding client expectations
- coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of finishing tasks within budgetary constraints
- conduct regular inspections and snagging to identify any defects or areas requiring improvement, and take corrective actions as necessary
- maintain excellent communication with the project management team, reporting progress, issues, and suggesting improvements
- implement and enforce strict health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all site personnel
- provide guidance and support to the finishing team, offering technical expertise and resolving any conflicts that may arise
Requirements
- proven experience as a Finishing Foreman, preferably within the high-end residential projects
- strong knowledge of construction processes, finishes, and building regulations
- demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of finishing tradespeople effectively
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering exceptional quality
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines
- relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or a related field are desirable
- valid CSCS card and First Aid certification
