Responsibility

  • creating variety of pastries, cakes, birthday cakes and tarts
  • monitoring and maintaining inventory of ingredients and supplies
  • ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • collaborating with other members of the team to develop new recipes and menu items
  • training and supervising junior staff members as needed

Requirements

  • previous experience as a pastry chef or baker
  • knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
  • strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, nights and weekends
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience in creating and decorating custom cakes is a plus
  • baking: 3 years
