Responsibility
- provide efficient management of depot operation, ensuring all activities are accomplished in line with KPI's set
- overall management of the team; both office-based and depot employees
- complete internal health and safety audits and drive the best operational practices within the team
- we have partnered with a global logistics and supply chain company who have mastered both land and sea in securing themselves a new container depot manager for their Liverpool depot
- lead and attend meetings as necessary to perform day-to-day duties and a clear understanding
- this role will have responsibility for the management of the depot operation in Liverpool, ensuring adherence and full compliance with company health and safety policies and the delivery of a profitable business unit supporting the company's growth and business requirements
- oversee delivery of monthly revenue targets meeting or exceeding budgeted expectations while overseeing resource management within the operation with an expectation of exceeding business and customer requirements
- operate as an excellent leader and team player, with a focus on motivating and developing your team members to exceed in their aims
Requirements
- minimum of 5 years prior experience in a similar management role. Experience in container management would be extremely beneficial
- A proven track record of continuous improvements across operations, people, health and safety and finance
- NEBOSH certification would be advantageous

- A demonstrable experience in leading others to achieving their targets, and motivating others to go above and beyond their requirements in the name of success
