Responsibility
- safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to various locations
- load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- plan routes and navigate to destinations using GPS or maps
- communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries
- perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure
- adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Requirements
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- proven experience as a delivery driver or van driver is preferred
- mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks
- ability to lift heavy objects and load/unload cargo as needed
- excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
