- to gain understanding of the needs of individuals with brain injury, thereby supporting their development and progress
- to lead on the regular updating of our website and social media output

- to lead on the provision of stimulating activities of interest to individuals with brain injury, in liaison with the Brains Matter Deputy Manager, staff and volunteers
- to observe, support, provide feedback and undertake all administration tasks associated with the individuals’ needs, seeking advice as and when required
- to undertake administration tasks including dealing with enquiries by telephone and email, carrying out assessments, monitoring and liaising with external agencies
- to ensure equipment and resources are available and sourced as required for activities within the community services
- to assist with administration duties as required
- to ensure that all accidents / incidents are reported to the Business Manager and recorded in the accident / incident book
- to inform the Business Manager immediately of any health and safety issues or concerns
- to attend staff and supervision meetings
- to support and maintain administration systems in consultation with the Business Manager, including overseeing premises maintenance, as required
- to ensure appropriate risk assessments are completed and safety measures are adhered to at all times
- to attend appropriate training courses/seminars as required or requested
- to support the Business Manager, staff and volunteers in ensuring high standards and continuity of service delivery
Requirements
- good working knowledge of I.T
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Social Care or willingness to undertake training
- A background or qualifications in health and/or social care

- experience of facilitating and or leading workshops
