Responsibility
- the company is based in rural North Devon

- we are currently looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant, ideally with experience of working in a busy office
- the candidate will require a can-do approach to work

- maintain Direct Debit schedule and post payments

Requirements
- high level of integrity and trust
- works accurately and systematically
- good attention to detail
- good team worker. Part of a small team so needs to help out as required
- payroll experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment, able to run with Monthly payroll and deal with queries
- accounts payable processing, experience preferred
- experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process, creating and recording journals
- knowledge of best practise in accounting and payroll functions and willing to keep knowledge up to date
