Responsibility
- ¨ Assist with the preparation of design proposals and tender documents
- ¨ Report problems and deficiencies in the design brief, and develop pragmatic cost-effective solutions
- ¨ Suggest solutions to problems based on an understanding of the relevant technologies
- ¨ Maintain drawing files and records throughout the duration of the contract
- ¨ Provide technical leadership to production personnel and other staff
- ¨ Ensure as built specifications are recorded, and system function is tested and proven prior to commissioning
- ¨ Ensure that products are designed to meet customer expectations, but with modularisation and standardisation as key focuses
- ¨ Produce technical information, drawings and associated schedules and documents, taking due account of health & safety requirements, designs, specifications and standards relating to the contract
