Responsibility
- welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments
- preparing foods, such as paninis, toasties and salads, blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers
- highlighting the differences between items and educating customers about coffee preparation when needed
- cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying waste, and sanitising equipment and utensils
- we are looking for a cheerful, enthusiastic Barista who is passionate about food and beverage preparation and serving to join our existing dynamic team
- learning about brewing methods, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve serving quality
- LOCATION: Bradleys Coffee Shop, 26/27 High Street, Aberdare
- the Barista will greet customers, answer their questions, take orders and accept payments, as well as prepare and serve food and drinks
Requirements
- previous experience of dealing face-to-face with customers
- experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred
- training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation
- exceptional listening and communication skills
- ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods
- availability to work weekdays, weekends, and school-holidays
- A polite, engaging personality
