Responsibility
- leading the annual audit and liaising with the Group Auditors and Tax Advisors
- ensuring compliance with all tax and industry regulations and legal matters
- providing support in all Payroll and Human Resource aspects
- managing and supporting the finance team with the day-to-day general accounting and administrative tasks
- providing timely and accurate reports at the request of Senior Management and assisting in strategic decision making
- providing insights and recommendations to improve financial efficiency and profitability
- overseeing and supporting the finance team with the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts, annual accounts, and annual audit files
- we are currently seeking an experienced accountant to join our head office team in Newry. The position will involve managing the finance team in a busy office environment and reporting directly to Senior Management
Requirements
- qualified Accountant with experience in a similar role
- flexible with the ability to travel to our locations in NI, ROI, and England
- A highly motivated team player with strong leadership skills
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- ability to manage a high level of workload with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
