Responsibility

  • this training opportunity will offer the right candidate the chance to work within our busy Fire Safety and Servicing department
  • carrying out fire extinguisher installations, surveys, repairs and maintenance to comply with the current regulatory standards
  • this opportunity will allow the candidate to develop their skills to the highest standard in all aspects of fire extinguisher and hose reel maintenance and repair work, where they will be working on a range of portable fire-fighting equipment
  • although the role will be mostly physical and hands on, there is a certain level of administration that is required as part of the role, this includes working on an iPad-based system
  • therefore, it is important that the candidate is comfortable with basic IT systems, has good organisational skills and is efficient within their work
  • load own vehicle and ensure sufficient stock on board
  • maintain levels of stock and put away extinguisher deliveries periodically

Requirements

  • full clean valid driving licence
  • be able to prioritise and manage workloads
  • be able to communicate and engage with customers
  • suitable IT Skills
  • the ability to problem solve and use your own initiative out in the field
