Responsibility
- the Operations Director will be accountable for the End-to-End fibre network build and ongoing quality
- this includes the fibre network rollout strategy and planning, build partner management
- running a highly experienced team, working with customers, and executing across the business
- happy to travel across the territory and manage prospects daily reporting results
- responsible and accountable for meeting company targets in regard to the operational unit
- have clearly laid out build plans for SDU/ MDU/ Projects & B2B with execution and territory strategies
- ensure daily/monthly targets are met and captured
- from Network planning to the final QR testing and releasing fibre network Ready For Service , working with the Go-To-Market, teams at various stages of network development
Requirements
- proven history managing network operations coupled with professionalism and enthusiasm
- network rollout, customer engineering, fault and repair handling and core network knowledge of processes and systems is mandatory
- genuine passion for delivering excellence in customer service are paramount
- telecoms experience is essential
- degree qualified
- proven track record of having worked in a target-driven environment, having run a network operational team for a minimum of 5 years at a senior level
- excellent communication skills, high IT literacy and technically savvy in regard to Core network technology, CPE, territory planning tools like GIS systems
