3rd line support engineer

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • providing third-level support to clients, resolving tickets in a professional and timely manner
  • supporting the 1st & 2nd Line service desk engineers to resolve issues that come into the Service Desk
  • ensuring that incidents are resolved to meet defined service level targets
  • carrying out investigations and resolving technical issues
  • visiting clients on-site whenever required

Requirements

  • microsoft Server/Client OS and/or Office 365 Certifications are advantageous but technical ability and aptitude for problem-solving is of higher value
  • knowledge of DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
  • remote monitoring and management including RDP services
  • disaster recovery and backup solutions
  • firewall management and VPN’s
  • 2+ years' experience working in an MSP environment
