Responsibility
- lead kitchen team in Head Chef/Executive Chef's absence
- provide guidance to junior kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, to line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating
- ensure a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance
- mise en place and keeping cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours
- supervise all food preparation and presentation to ensure consistently superb quality
- work with Executive Chef and Head Chef to maintain kitchen organisation, food safety, staff ability, and training opportunities
- assist Executive Chef and Head Chef with menu creation
Requirements
- full Driving License - travelling will be required
- minimum Level 2 food hygiene
- experience at a similar level, or experienced Commis, Demi CDP looking for career progression
