Responsibility
- we are seeking a highly meticulous and skilled engineer to assume the pivotal role of Industrialisation Engineer within our organisation
- this position serves as the crucial link between our engineering design teams and our production operations
- the primary objective of this role is to facilitate the seamless transition of innovative design concepts into manufacturable, production-ready products
- act as the essential liaison between the engineering design team and our production department, fostering effective communication and collaboration
- you will be at the forefront of reducing build times while championing the introduction of new designs into our production environment
- ensure that our designs are optimised for manufacturability and assembly, allowing our products to be produced efficiently at scale
- your contributions will be instrumental in helping our organisation scale to meet the high demand for our products
- maintain an accurate overview of build time per product and introduce strategies to reduce these without compromising quality
Requirements
- experience working within an engineering or component manufacturing environment
- strong engineering or technical background
- proven experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrialisation, design for manufacturability, or production optimisation capacity
- proven track record of taking manufactured products through certification
- proven problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and resolving production issues and inefficiencies
- proficiency in CAD software and the ability to review and analyse mechanical designs for manufacturability
- focused on quality, able to work quickly and accurately. Confident self-starter and solution-oriented. Demonstrated ability to define and maintain new processes
- strong skills in process optimisation, with a track record of streamlining production workflows and reducing build times
