Responsibility

  • promote a successful health and safety culture, ensuring safe working practices for all employees, contractors, and visitors
  • we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Manager to lead our operations in Buckie and Glenesk
  • develop and implement strategic tools and frameworks, including training and succession plans, to shape a 5-year resource plan
  • ensure compliance across all Scotland sites, maintaining strict management of plant hygiene practices and promoting adherence to established systems
  • lead, coach, and inspire the Scotland operations teams to optimize their potential and achieve best-in-class quality distilling malt supply
  • as a Site Manager, you will inspire, shape, and develop high-performing teams to drive and optimize operations, advancing our regional goals in distilling supply
  • your leadership will ensure the full potential of our people, plant, and processes, consistently achieving and improving on targeted KPIs
  • champion continuous improvement through Boortmalt Operational Excellence , engaging with local, regional, and group operations teams to drive innovative solutions and sustainability roadmaps

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the distilling or manufacturing industry
