Responsibility

  • take ownership of the RFQ process, cradle to grave
  • to drive customer-centric continuous improvement, focusing on cost, delivery and quality enhancements, around value added processes
  • respond to special customer enquiries by email and phone to gather all required information to build the best possible solution
  • review and process all Requests for Quotes from Customers according to agreed prioritisation, and to meet or exceed, customer expectation
  • communicate directly with the customer and internal teams on any issues or questions regarding the RFQ’s
  • the Sales Estimator will possess the experience and production knowledge to handle all aspects of producing costs, and maintaining BOM’s, by understanding manufacturing processes and sourcing options to exceed our customer’s specific requirements
  • produce CAD drawings and manufacturing times using SolidWorks where required
  • form part of the internal feasibility team
